Key Account Manager (Hunter) ? Travel (Argentina, Buenos Aires)

Reports to: National/Regional Sales Leadership

About the Role

We are hiring a true Hunter in the travel industry?someone who thrives on opening new accounts, activating travel agencies, and growing revenue in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will bring an active network in the Argentina travel ecosystem and the resilience to prospect under pressure while collaborating closely with inside sales and KAM peers.

What You will Do

- Open new logo: Build and execute an entry plan for target agencies (corporate and retail), deliver a high volume of first meetings, and convert them into active accounts.
- Own the territory pipeline: Maintain a rolling prospecting plan (AMBA focus), daily outreach, and disciplined follow-ups in CRM (Epicenter).
- Grow key relationships: Build senior-level relationships with decision makers at agencies/wholesalers, become their go-to commercial partner.
- Run a data-driven cadence: Track activity, conversion, and GTV to goal, report weekly performance and actions using CRM, BI (Power BI).
- Enable and train: Deliver short, effective trainings (on-site/virtual) for agents to accelerate adoption and bookings.
- Work the field: Attend industry events and trade shows. Schedule five meaningful meetings/day (new or existing agencies).

- Resilience and urgency: You like monthly goals and a strong incentive plan.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Recent experience in travel (current or immediately prior) with agency-facing responsibilities.
- Proven track record opening new accounts and activating agencies (not only farming/renewals).
- Comfortable with CRM (Epicenter or similar) and BI/reporting (Power BI), solid Excel/Sheets.
- English functional fluency for contracts/reports and technical conversations (GDS/booking/KPIs).
- Willingness to travel locally, own mobility is a plus (not mandatory).

Nice to Have

- Prior experience with or against key market players
- Public speaking / training experience for retail and wholesale audiences.
- Familiarity with inside-sales collaboration models and online sales portals.
